**The individual in this position will be a very visible person in the community as they will be in the field on deliveries regularly. Therefore it is extremely important that they operate our delivery vehicles in a safe and professional manner. They are also the last contact we have with our customer and the impression the delivery driver leaves at the customers house plays a vital role in the customers satisfaction.**

**RESPONSIBILITIES:**

* **Properly loading and securing merchandise on delivery vehicle**

* **Safely driving delivery vehicle**

* **Properly installing and demonstrating the product to the customer in their home**

* **Clean and certify merchandise in the backroom**

* **Maintain the stores backroom warehouse in a neat and orderly manner**

* **Ensure that delivery schedule is followed and route sheets are properly filled out**

* **Confirm customer identification, explain lease agreement, collect money, and obtain customers signature on lease agreement**

* **Assist with showroom display and marketing efforts in the field**

* **Verify correct merchandise and accessories for delivery**

**REQUIREMENTS:**

* **Good communication and interpersonal skills**

* **Minimum high school diploma**

* **Must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and have a good driving record**

* **Must be at least 18 years of age**

* **Position routinely requires lifting, loading, and using a dolly for merchandise**

* **Professional and neat appearance**

* **Strong technical skills or working knowledge of appliances & electronics**
