Overview

National Teachers Associates (NTA Life), a Horace Mann company, is hiring in the St. Louis, MO area for our niche market of Educators.

Compensation & Schedule

Performance-based compensation for new business and renewal commissions with bonuses. First-year earnings typically range from $75,000 to $105,000 or more, depending on sales experience. Second-year earnings include commissions plus renewal commissions (residuals) and bonuses. Protected territory with favorable work/life balance, and NO nights, NO weekends, and NO holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Sell life and health insurance to educators within a protected territory.
  • Develop relationships with associations, unions, and administrations that serve educators and related groups.
  • Manage new business and renewal opportunities; pursue income through commissions and bonuses.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining a professional and compliant approach.

Qualifications

  • Must have Life & Health Insurance License.
  • Experience in sales is welcome; entry-level candidates who are motivated and competitive are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to work within niche markets and leverage established relationships.
