Maintenance Trainee - Deerfield, MO
We're looking for a motivated Maintenance Trainee to join a food manufacturing environment in Deerfield, MO. This is a great opportunity to grow your maintenance skills while supporting a team that values safety, quality, and strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
* Ensure all products meet Food Safety and Quality Standards
* Report any food safety concerns to your supervisor
* Inspect machinery before use; report issues prior to or during operation
* Verify correct product labeling and lot codes
* Assemble and disassemble machinery as needed
* Follow Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures during cleaning or scraping
* Follow supervisor instructions on product runs and needed containers
* Assist with industrial maintenance tasks, including exposure to:
* PLC basics
* Pump repairs/installs
* Fabrication and welding
* PSM processes
* Motor repairs/installs
* Basic electrical repairs
Pay
up to $22 per hour
Ideal Candidate
* Mechanically inclined
* Willing to learn industrial equipment and safety processes
* Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
