Advance your coverage practice at a national litigation boutique that represents insurers, reinsurers, and corporate policyholders in coverage disputes, bad?faith matters, and complex liability issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage analysis and litigation strategy on complex disputed coverage issues.
• Draft detailed legal memoranda, policy interpretation opinions, reservation of rights letters, and dispositive motions.
• Represent insurer clients in coverage litigation, including federal and state court matters.
• Support mediation and ADR efforts to resolve coverage disputes efficiently.
• Consult on policy wording and program implementation questions.
• Work collaboratively with attorneys across reinsurance, bad faith, and defense litigation teams.

Requirements

• 48 years of insurance coverage litigation experience (policy interpretation, coverage disputes, bad faith/extracontractual liability).
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills tailored to insurance coverage contexts.
• Experience drafting coverage positions, opinions, and coverage briefs.
• Proven litigation experience in coverage matters (motions, discovery, hearings).
• Licensed to practice law in the U.S. (multi?state admissions a plus).
