Anesthesiology – Medical Director Opportunity just 1 hour from St. Louis

Seeking a Board-certified Facility Medical Director to lead an anesthesiology team.

Full-Time, Employed position. Along with clinical duties, the Facility Medical Director's responsibilities include:

• Providing visible and responsible medical leadership for anesthesia services.
• Meeting regularly with hospital administration and other key stakeholders to discuss expectations and improvement initiatives.
• Quality, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement duties.

This facility has 103 beds and 4,900 cases, including general, OB/GYN, ortho, podiatry, ENT, and healthy peds. No hearts or heads.

The Medical Director will take some minimal 1st call, such as 1 weekend day per month, and probably just back up call during the week.
