POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Returns & Refurbishment Operations Manager to oversee the operations of our high-volume consumer electronics return processing centers in Hebron, Kentucky, and Bloomington, Indiana. These centers operate within our logistics partner's facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of electronic product returns, leading a dedicated team, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to drive operational excellence. Willingness to travel regularly between the Hebron and Bloomington locations is a must.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operational Oversight:
  • Lead and supervise day-to-day operations of the Electronics Return Center.
  • Implement and optimize return processes to ensure timely and accurate handling of electronic products.
  • Team Management:
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
  • Conduct regular performance audits and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with logistics partners to maintain strong relationships and ensure seamless integration of return center operations within the overall supply chain.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address issues, streamline processes, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and condition of returned electronic products.
  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Utilize data analytics to assess key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement.
  • Generate regular reports on return center performance and present findings to leadership.

YOU HAVE:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business, Operations Management, Logistics, or Process Engineering or equivalent professional experience.

• 4-6 years proven experience in operations management, particularly in electronics or consumer goods industries preferred.

• Previous experience overseeing return center operations is highly desirable.

• Experience implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiencies.

4. Technical Knowledge:

• Expert knowledge with consumer electronics and their basic repair requirements

• Familiarity with electronic products, return inspection processes and device condition and grading.

• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for data analysis and reporting.

5. Adaptability:

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changes and challenges as they arise.
