Location: Minnesota Remote travel to Target Headquarter

Client is a dynamic and innovative company specializing in high-quality hobby and toy products. We are passionate about creating engaging and enjoyable experiences for customers, and we are looking for a motivated and skilled Key Account Manager to join our team and help expand our presence in sales channels in the US.

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for selling company's SKUs into key accounts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in selling consumer products, ideally in the toy or hobby sector. This role requires a proactive approach to conducting sales discovery to drive growth and achieve sales targets.

What you will do
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Target.
• Execute effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
• Prospect and identify new business opportunities within the retail sector.
• Book and conduct meetings with key buyers and decision-makers.
• Lead sales discovery processes to understand customer needs and tailor product offerings accordingly.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and product delivery.
• Contribute to defining and improving sales materials, processes, and operations as the company grows and evolves.
• Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to provide strategic insights and recommendations.

What we look for
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising or a related field.
• Proven 5 years+ experience in selling consumer products, preferably toys or hobby-related products, into Target.
• Strong relationships with key buyers in retail chains.
• Excellent prospecting, meeting booking, and sales discovery skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, emerging company environment.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to change.
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
