Responsibilities
• Unload deliveries
• Print and label product and maintain labels for inbound materials
• Move delivered items into storage areas
• Receive items into WMS Database
• Maintain Log for inbound packaging and other deliveries
• Organize and keep inventory stored in an efficient and safe manner
• Create work orders to create demand for packaging items
• Note deficiencies to Purchasing and update OOSR
• Utilize the Packaging Schedule to proactively pull and stage packaging for the Packaging Lines based on Packaging Work Order (boxes, pouches, masters, film, labels)
• Pick work orders using database or database scanning unit
• Help Packaging Line Leaders with changeovers
• Support Packaging Room Supervisor and Purchasing Department
Necessary Skills
• Forklift Operation (certification required upon hire)
• Computer Proficient
Education/Experience
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• High School Diploma Requested
• Be at least 18 years old
• Possess basic math skills
• Ability to use creative thinking for troubleshooting
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to demonstrate excellent work habits in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Ability to demonstrate safe working habits
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds frequently
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to perform steady and productive work for an extended period of time
• Ability to work well with others and be a team member
• Obvious enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work
