Dollar General - - Responsibilities: Assist Store Manager in managing the Perishable Departments including, produce, fresh meat, packaged meats, and dairy, frozen food, bread, and thaw and sell bakery products; Maintain correct perishable stock levels based on store volume using various planning and order guides; Assist in training associates in proper presentation, freshness, pricing standards, and safe handling of food in compliance with regulations; Record Perishable Markdowns and analyze causes to prevent recurrences; Ensure compliance with sanitation standards and assist with other operational areas as directed by the Store Manager
