3M - - Responsibilities: Diagnose, test, repair and adjust AC and DC motors and drive systems; pneumatic, electrical and electronic systems, control loops and PID loops (4-20 milliamps), industrial controllers, including analog and digital programmable controllers (PLCs); Perform minor installation and modification of control and power wiring up to 480 volts AC, within NEC and OSHA standards; Read, understand, and modify AC and DC wiring diagrams and drawings per established 3M practices; Perform preventive maintenance tasks including lubrication per route sheets or manuals; Use metal joining techniques and operate shop equipment for installation and repair of equipment; light fabrication, painting, etc.
