Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Health and inoculation certificate on file in the Central Office. Experience in landscaping and grounds work. Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities. Desire to continue career improvement

Functions and Responsibilities: Maintains school grounds in top condition to ensure full and productive use of facilities. Ensures that all activities conform to district guidelines. Communicates effectively with all members of the school district and community. Appropriately operates all equipment and machinery as required. Supports the value of an education. Supports the philosophy and mission of USD 250

Physical Requirements/Environmental Conditions: Requires prolonged sitting or standing. Requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials. Requires stooping, kneeling, crawling, bending, turning and reaching. Requires climbing and balancing. Must work indoors and outdoors year-round. Must work in noisy and crowded environments. Must work in and around dust, fumes and odors.
