Job Details

3M - - Responsibilities: Diagnose, test, repair and adjust AC and DC motors and drive systems; pneumatic, electrical and electronic systems; control loops and PID loops (4-20 milliamps); industrial controllers including PLCs; Perform minor installation and modification of control and power wiring up to 480 volts AC; ensure NEC/OSHA compliance and Intrinsically Safe/explosion-proof wiring procedures; Read, understand, and modify AC/DC elementary drawings and wiring diagrams per 3M practices; Perform preventive maintenance and lubrication per PM route sheets or manuals; Use metal joining techniques (arc welding, brazing, soldering) and light fabrication; operate shop equipment (tools, lathes, mills, grinders, drill presses, saws)
